This Privacy Policy explains how Prayertime ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our Android application. Prayertime is developed and published by IntelliStack. We built this app to help you keep track of prayer times, read the Quran, Hadith and Duas — and we designed it to work with as little personal data as possible.
1. Information We Collect
Prayertime is designed to function primarily on your device, without requiring an account. Depending on the features you use, the following information may be accessed or processed:

2. Location Data
Prayertime uses your approximate or precise location only to determine prayer timings and the Qibla direction relevant to where you are. Location data is processed on your device and is not collected, stored, or transmitted to any external server by us. You can deny location permission and manually select your city instead; some features may be limited if you do so.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not require sign-up, so we do not collect your name, email, or phone number to use core features.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
- We do not access your contacts, messages, photos, or files.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services — for app distribution, licensing, and optional crash reporting.
- Google Play Billing — if the App offers any premium features or subscriptions, payments are processed securely by Google Play; we do not see or store your card details.

6. Children's Privacy
Prayertime is suitable for a general audience, including children using the Kids Learning section under a parent's guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require any personal sign-in to use its learning features.
7. Data Security
Since most of your data (preferences, streaks, bookmarks) stays on your device, the security of that data depends on your device's own security (screen lock, OS updates, etc.). We take reasonable measures to protect any data that is transmitted (e.g. via encrypted connections).
8. Your Choices
- You can disable location access at any time from your device settings.
- You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.
- You can clear the App's local data via Android Settings → Apps → Prayertime → Storage → Clear Data.
- You can uninstall the App at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
